RULES

Please read the 3 most important items of the challenge below, these MUST be done correctly in order to properly submit your work to the challenge!

When the winner is chosen, their photo will be uploaded to the @30platesin30days instagram feed, remember this is a global challenge so there is a 48 hour grace period because of time zones. The winner for the 1st day will be announced on the 3rd day!

 

*All winners must pay for the shipping of their prize plate.*

 

 Unfortunately late plates will not be in the running to win a prize, but we would still love to see them so hashtag them anyways <3

  1. Tag #30platesin30days, @30platesin30days & follow the judge for that day.

  2. Tag #30platesin30daysDAYWORD (switch DAY & WORD out with whatever day of the challenge it is, and whatever word for the themed day you're posting for, i.e. #30platesin30days13BOTANICAL for October 13th or #30platesin30days30HALLOWEEN for October 30th) Double check your spelling and what day you are posting so we don't miss you! 

  3. Tag the judge of your themed day so they don't miss your post! Preferably @ them so it doesn't clog their feed, and make sure to follow them on insta as well.

Participation

Feel free to participate as much or as little as you'd like. This is meant to be a fun challenge, and nothing to stress over. We all know the ceramics process is long and prone to hiccups. And plates are not easy! (THOSE DAMN S CRACKS) But think about how much you can learn and how inspired you'll be, not to mention you'll basically be a plate master by the end of the challenge.

Inspiration

The themes in this challenge are completely up to the artists interpretation. We also do not discriminate with hand building, wheel throwing, or slip-casting; so have a blast and run with it! We're so excited to see what you create. Have fun getting your hands dirty!
